Game Notices
We tried paying our creditors with Zen. We need a new plan.
You may have noticed some changes around here since we at K2 Network took on responsibility for manning the Global MU Online service. There has also been a great deal of speculation as to the direction we would be taking the game. Well, speculate no more.
It should come as no surprise that Global MU Online has been evolving from a completely Free2Play™ service into a pay to play service. While some aspects of Global MU Online will remain Free2Play™, the high-level content will require a subscription fee. In an effort to minimize the disruption caused by this transition, we are allowing the members of our community to purchase an account immediately, but these changes will not take effect until April 21, 2006.
Many of you may be wondering why we don't just allow the community to play for free indefinitely. The fact of the matter is that we simply cannot provide the game experience you, the members of the community, deserve without funding. Already, we have increased the size of our MU Master (MM) staff to run more exciting events, our Customer Service staff to ensure a smooth play experience, and our infrastructure to maximize server availability. Your commitment will allow us to continue to grow these and other aspects of the service, resulting in the best possible gaming experience we can offer our growing community.
We hope you will bear with us while we endeavor to surpass your expectations. Growing the service will be an adventure for all of us, and we couldn't imagine any better companions to have along the way.
Content
Global MU Online will continue to have 4 free maps (Lorencia, Noria, Devias, and all three levels of Dungeon). You can go where you want to go and do what you want to do for as long as you like in these maps until you reach level 60.
this is from the muonline site !
omg only 4 maps ?
