Pay-to-Play AND Free-to-Play (Really) - 04-13-06
There has been a lot of activity on the forums this week and we have been listening carefully to the Global MU Online (GMO) community. We have heard your passion for GMO and we appreciate it. We recognize there are two distinct groups of MUtizens with opposing viewpoints. One group likes things just the way they are: "We want Free2Play™," "We don't need support," "We love MU the way it is" The other group is excited about premium service: "Better quality of gaming experience." "in-game events are awesome," "Customer Support that actually responds," "awesome new maps," "Active GM's that actually talk to us,"
So which group of gamers are we going to put first? Both.
Free-to-Play
Wigle and Maya are going to stay Free2Play™. Just like it has been for the last 3 years. Go where you want to go, do what you want to do. Keep your account, keep your characters, keep your stuff. These servers will feature the game you love, pure and simple.
Pay-to-Play
We will be adding our first Premium, Pay-to-Play World. It will include enhanced game play, extensive events, focused MU Master attention, the latest updates and items, and unlimited customer support. Pay-to-play service will include the transfer of Free-to-Play characters and items. You will also be able to create new characters and play up to level 60 on this world for free.
