I think the most effective (and safest) way to kill nix is to have Matt & Ama buff/heal Hunter while he attacks the nix, and me and the rest of the guild will stand behind you at a safe distance cheering you on (for moral support). At this point the nix will be really pissed off, so if hunter dies we'll have to sacrifice rowboat to him and hope the nix doesnt chase after the rest of us.
This would ensure the least casualties ^^

I know The chick on top can use lightning, and then nix can do an all round attack? (See how Chaos said my name first Ama  ) |

yes, but the nix range attack is like a power slash (the rune mg skill).
