because they get dmg reflected, and this will slow down their attack.

yes a item +ref in a combo war is very very usefulll because when u hit him it may be a chance that u may get that fail (ure char will say ouch.. and u will take a combo fail )

hmm if u ask me the best sets are gywen and gaion for Energy mg . the rest are ver good too but those are impresive.

I went on a pk spree with Virus0001 with Gaion +7/9.. I think +9..
Anyway, just with Cyclone Skill, he could hit up to 6.5k on bk wingers, (And my buff isn't that good^^) So obviously Gaion kicks ass.

/Ceto is real good for ee aswell, check the stats on it.

u wont get min dmg at cc+4 -_- especialy wiht combo that ignores defense. So u'll have high def for ice arrow and sm decay and ref + vit for combo.

yes gaion is a very nice set. U can do easily 6.5k dmg, when u hit ignore and exc and double dmg together.
