I am able to connect to the internet. But for some reason I can't sign into msn or any internet programs nor can I visit websites. If somebody can help me fix this I'd be majorly greatful. I'm using my dad's office computer right now to post this. Or if anyone is familiar with the Sympatico service I'd like to know how to completely uninstall it so that I can reinstall it and do it right this time. Btw I also got flashget on my computer before this net issue and I had to restart the Mu dl, so it's only at 20 ~ 25% done now. Good thing about flashget is that I can pause the download.

Hum not sure man i dont have Sympatico..i got Cable....what are you useing for a browser?
sounds like you have somthing in either your windows firewall or your browser blocking out going connection or incoming......look over your firewall settings first..maybe you got it far to high???
or maybe your browser is set up to block everything?

grrr i'm on dial-up and i remember having the same problem when i reinstalled my internet connection software.... now i cant remember how i fixed it!
i'll have to keep raking my brain....
