Here is a sum-up of what i did read around and heard.
So for V.1 MU:
- new map added called Avarice Island, also known as the Island of Greed (uncle scrooge if you read this).
It's situated out to sea and rumours have it that you get there via the dock in Lorencia, which would make sense since Lorencia is the capital of the MU world.
Avarice Island will include the strongest monsters in the whole Continent (for MU v1 anyway ) and provide players with the highest-class equipment.
The first few mobs on Avarice Island are designed for high-lvlers to solo, mainly because they are low-levelled, spawn extremely close together, and will be killed fast (low-levelled in a lvl. 300 character's terms).
To gain entry to Avarice Island you must wear a full set of
Armour and be lvl. 200 or above. You need to be converted to 2nd class too.
The ship from the Lorencia dock departs once every 4 hours, the service cost is 2,000,000 Zen. You also need to create a ticket, which can be done via the Chaos Goblin by giving him 3 Avarice Crusts and 1,000,000 Zen. The success rate is 100%.
Excellent Chaos Weapons might be available.
The attack speed for the 'Slashing' skill will be increased, and the success chance of freezing your opponent with a Crystal Sword will be upped too.
Dark Breaker's attack speed will be lowered from 40 to 30.
New skills will be included with this update:
Knights will also have 3 new skills.
- Warcry: For this skill you'll need to be a Blade Knight and be level 178. The required Strength is 658 and you'll also need 120 Energy, meaning most Knights will have to wait till well after lvl. 178 before they can use the skill, due to stat placement problems. The skill makes all monsters attack the Knight who uses the skill.
- Wind Attack: Currently no one knows how much Strength you'll need or what level you'll need to be to use this skill, but you'll most certainly need to be a Blade Knight. This skill is like Twisting Slash except the calculation of the damage greatly differs and it can only be used while riding a Uniria/Dinorant.
- Grey Wolf Summon: (and i will do this first ) Knights even have elements from Elfs built into them now. For this skill you must be lvl. 180, have 485 Strength, 320 Agility, and 142 Energy. The orb can only be dropped from the mob Grey Wolf in Avarice Island, and it'll attack any monster the owning Knight does. It's damage shows up in gold and its attack speed is 50, the only drawback is that it loses 5HP for every hit it does.
Wizards will have 1 new spell
- Hell Burst: To use this spell you must be lvl. 180, have 920 Energy, and 220 Strength; The spell must be charged for 4 seconds before use, then there's a 6 second delay before the spell recharges. The damage is 2x that of the 2nd strongest spell.
Elfs will have 2 new skills:
- Mirror Image: The only requirement for this skill is 890 Energy. It can only be used in a party situation and basically it duplicates a party member and has them fight with you for a duration of 6 seconds. The Elf must wear a full set of armour. So freya will be doing this for sure
- Formation of Arrow: For this skill you need 265 Strength, 568 Agility, 430 Energy, and be a Muse Elf. This is a charged attack, same effect as Piercing Arrow, and can be fired in bunches of 5. The damage is 1.5 that of Piercing Arrow arrows.
For freya ->
Magic Gladiators will also gain 2 new skills:
- Darkness Destruction: when a Magic Gladiator uses this skill the screen will darken and all mobs on-screen will lose 8% of their defense. The duration is 5 seconds and the caster loses 100HP.
- Evil Soul: Evil Soul is similar to advanced attack. It increases the defense and strength of the caster depending on their stats.
There will be a new class called Dark Lord, which has the same principles as the Magic Gladiator. This character will be unlocked when a basic character reaches a certain level. The Dark Lord will have a host of new skills, and special party techniques too. Just like the MG, they recieve 7 stat points per level.
There will be an organisation/meeting system also, and A new 'castle siege' feature is being developed which will be similar to Guild wars except larger and more extensive.
Thats all to know for now folks.
